SMMware offers a feature called a REST API, which is a way of letting other software packages reach out to SMMware, either to read information out of SMMware, or to insert new information into SMMware.
The opportunities for interaction are almost boundless.
A REST API is in keeping with SMMware’s philosophy of being very general purpose; if you do want a function that SMMware does not provide, we want you to be able to choose whatever software package you like.
