Why SMMware
SMMware offers a suite of tools to help you handle the day to day operations of your small to medium sized business, and one of the main pillars is SMMware’s flexible and powerful tool for employee scheduling. It supports three main approaches.
First, you can have employees enter when they can or cannot work into the system, such that when you plan an event you can assign people from those who are available. This approach also allows attendees to have different start and end times (‘shifts’). As part of planning you can get an overview of who is available for a given day. You can tell SMMware how large a block of time an employee needs to have free to be included in that summary.
Second, you can use our ‘Invitation’ approach, with employees responding to their invites. This in turn can be used in a ‘first come first serve’ basis, an ‘invite many, pick from the Yes responses’ approach, or ‘multiple rounds of invitations’ basis.
Lastly, if you’ve spoken separately with an employee and just need to formalize it in the system, you can simply assign them to an event.
Notifications to employees can also be via text messages as well as emails.
